The Bull Bayou Farm is located in Madison Parish (Instead of counties, Louisiana has parishes) in northeastern Louisiana consisting of 240 acres, 230 of which are currently farmed. The property was recently leveled and additional irrigation risers added to make the farm 100% irrigated. The farm is planted in soybeans and corn for 2020, and is capable of producing rice and cotton as well. The farm is currently rented to a proven grower with an operation spanning thousands of acres.
This land also sits within the Mississippi Flyway which provides excellent waterfowl hunting, and includes a recreational lease on the property through 2023. The income from this lease is included in the financials section of this offering because it is already under contract. Additional funds are being raised to improve farm drainage and clean up debris in overgrown areas of the property along the roadside. Please see the financials tab for further information.
