Located in the heart of the largest peanut growing region in the country, this farm contains 179 acres of irrigated and dry crop ground. The farm's loamy-sand soil is highly suitable for peanut production, but also has supported cotton and melon crops in previous seasons. The farm is located south of Macon, GA a few miles off of Interstate 75.
One center pivot irrigates the farm with water supplied by a well with ample water to cover the growing acres. These soils are capable of growing a wide diversity of crops and drain very well. The farm has an active lease for 2020 with interest in a multi-year extension. This farm is the first in a series of two neighboring parcels being offered on the AcreTrader platform.
